The Nant Estate welcomes guests for tours of the Distillery and cellar door sales.

Accommodation is also available on the estate at The Nant Highland Lodge, a comfortable country estate house catering for up to 8 guests. Our resident chef is on hand to cater for all meals and full service is available. Room rates start from $240 per room per night and include breakfast. (2 night minimum stay on weekends).

Enjoy breakfast on the Atrium Terrace overlooking the picturesque grounds of the estate and watch our playful platypus frolic in the mill pond. After breakfast guests can enjoy clay trap shooting with one of our guides or for the whisky enthusiast master classes and workshops are available. The Nant Estate is also within easy reach of the pristine Tasmanian Highland Lakes, renowned for world-class fly fishing experiences and other natural pursuits. While visiting the distillery our staff can arrange fully guided fly fishing expeditions for guests to appreciate the natural environment of the Central Highlands. Fly casting tuition is available on the estate with experienced guides.  

Situated next door to Nant is the Ratho Golf Links one of the oldest courses in the world and well worth a round when you visit. Clubs are available for hire from the Distillery.

Distillery Tours and Cellar Door

Distillery Tours and Cellar Door sales are available daily between 10am to 4pm. Tours take 30 minutes and commence at the Mill door where guests are escorted through the historic water mill and whisky distillery to see first hand a fully operational whisky distillery.  Tours conclude in the atrium lounge and whisky bar where guests can enjoy a wide selection of single malt whiskies.  We request that you please call ahead to let us know you're coming.  

Tours are $19.50 per person.

The Nant Private Masterclass  combines the Distillery Tour with a master class featuring  four malt whiskies and tasting plate of our rich and diverse local produce in our private tasting room. The tour is a must for the whisky enthusiast.
